We were attracted by the flyer they distributed and just wanted a simple part 1 for dinner. This was one of the newer dimsum restaurants beside Hong Kong Town on the 3rd floor of BCS mall.
We ordered Oriental Set which included nasi goreng oriental, siew mai and lemon tea for 38.8K (before tax). Uncle Roger would disapprove of this fried rice as it was fried with fresh rice instead of overnight rice. It was wet and clumpy as can be seen from the picture.
In Indonesia, siewmai is also known as sio may or siewmay. We chose crab siewmai and then learnt that anything that says "crab" or "kepiting" really means "crabstick". 😐
The Other Human had nasi ayam saus manga - chicken with mango sauce and rice (12.8K). It was okay. The whole meal was less than $6 including tax and in a restaurant setting. Not complaining.
But this restaurant is not a place to be maximising your limited stomach space.
