We usually go there for the A&W root beer float. It's not as nice as Thailand's version as Thailand uses scoop type vanilla ice cream while Batam uses vanilla soft serve. Batam also puts ice in the root beer float but at $2 we are super forgiving.

Since our last visit A&W is doing the "no straws" thing but it is NOT POSSIBLE to enjoy a root beer float without a straw. So actually they do give straws for root beer float and if you didn't get one you can ask.

• Sometimes they will have promo items that look very nice in the poster but the actual looks nothing like it. Mango sundae from Mar 2024.

We also stopped buying the curly fries after we realised how cheat-money the box was. 

So curved at the bottom so that they can give you minimum fries. Tsk tsk.

Restaurant is big and spacious.
